Boy has this month gone by fast. I can’t believe Thanksgiving is almost here! I’m really excited to be going home to visit my family and of course to eat some turkey and stuffing. Since home is in the boonies, I always miss the black Friday sales but being with my family is worth it; plus I shop throughout the year. One of my favorite bargain sites is www.dealnews.com. I’ve gotten some really great deals though them including my $49 iPhone last Christmas. I always get my magazines through their links. I haven’t spent over $5 for a magazine subscription is probably 2 years.
My workshop and creating my business site(s) has been keeping me really busy but in a good way. I’m stretching myself in new directions; which is a good thing. Stagnation never benefits anyone. It’s really easy to get comfortable and just go with the flow and never do anything to improve yourself. I was really proud of myself earlier this week. I was having some technical problems on my site and couldn’t figure them out and it was affecting my site traffic- wise. I emailed a friend and asked him to take a look. Funny, in our exchange he said something that triggered what might be the problem. When I went back I investigated I found the problem (ME!!!) and fixed it. Thanks Dan for making me think on a more technical level. I’m usually really bad about just saying “fix it” so being able to fix it myself was a huge confidence builder. I’ve got some really great ideas for some upcoming sites that will stretch me even further in the new year and I can’t wait. Bring on that passive income!! Lyn needs some new cute shoes!!!
